WHO WE ARE

A venue shaped by reinvention, guided by people, and built for celebrations that feel like you.

An industrial-chic wedding and event space in the heart of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Housed in a historic shoe factory, our space blends architectural character with thoughtful support, so couples and clients can create events that feel
personal, intentional, and easy to be present in.

Couples & Clients

choose us because they value:

Creative freedom,
without chaos.
Clear guidance,
without rigidity.
A space that adapts to them, not the other way around.

Built on Values.

This is how we work and why it feels different.

Our values shape who we partner with and how we show up.

They guide how we plan, communicate, and lead on event day, creating an experience where couples feel supported, vendors feel trusted, and our team shows up with care and pride.

A Space Built to Evolve

Black and white photo of a large, multi-story brick industrial building with multiple windows, some with arched tops, and two prominent chimneys. Several vintage automobiles are parked in front of the building, with utility poles and a dirt road leading up to the structure.

Reinvention is in our DNA. This building has never stopped adapting and neither have we

  • 1904

    Built to Make Things

Originally the W.H. McElwain Shoe Factory, these walls powered one of America’s largest footwear manufacturers when Manchester was known as Shoe City.

  • 1945

    Built to Adapt

As industries evolved, so did the building. It became a trade school, then a circuit board manufacturer for more than 30 years, always focused on what comes next.

  • 2019

    Thoughtfully Reimagined

Award-winning developer Liz Hitchcock transformed the space into The Factory on Willow, preserving its character while creating a vibrant live-work community.

  • 2022

    Built for Gathering

The Venues at The Factory opened as a place for celebration, connection, and creativity, honoring the building’s past while making room for new stories.

What It Feels Like to Host Here

From your first walkthrough to your final send-off, our role is to help things feel simpler, calmer, and more aligned every step of the way.

We believe your venue should do more than look good in photos.

It should remove friction, anticipate needs, and give you the confidence to enjoy your day as it unfolds.
