You may use your homeowner’s, renter’s or business insurance provider (if they offer event coverage), or any licensed event insurance company.

Event Insurance Requirements

Booking your event at The Venues at The Factory requires proof of event insurance. This protects you, your guests, and your vendors, and ensures your special day goes smoothly without surprises.

Why Insurance Matters

Event insurance safeguards against unexpected issues such as accidents, property damage, or liability related to serving alcohol. It’s an industry standard, and it allows both you and your vendors to focus on enjoying the event with peace of mind

Insurance Requirements

  • General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence minimum.

  • Liquor Liability: Required for all weddings and events where alcohol is served.

  • Additional Insured: Please list the following exactly:

Vendor Insurance

  • If your vendors are on our Preferred Vendor List, we should already have their insurance on file.

  • If you are bringing in outside vendors, they must provide their own proof of coverage that meets these same requirements (listing us as additionally insured) and be approved by our Venue.

Cost of Coverage

Most one-day event policies cost $100–$175, paid directly to your chosen insurance provider.

Submitting Proof of Insurance

  • Coverage confirmation is usually emailed to you immediately upon purchase.

  • Please forward proof of insurance to team@thevenuesatthefactory.com, or ask your insurance provider to CC us directly.
